The compressor is equivalent to the engine of the air conditioning system, compressing and driving the refrigerant (refrigerant) circulation. Compressor, condenser, evaporator replacement time is long, high cost. Therefore, the refrigerant and compressor oil of automobile air conditioner need to be inspected and replaced every year to ensure the normal operation of air conditioning system and prolong the service life of compressor and other major components!
Loss of compressor oil
Most of the time, when adding refrigerant to the air conditioning system, there is no compressor oil, or too much compressor oil, which will bring serious problems!
The oil is too little, the compressor lacks lubrication, the heat generated in the work can not be taken away smoothly, which will lead to the compressor cylinder pulling in serious cases!
Too much oil will lead to low heat transfer efficiency and insufficient cooling capacity of air conditioning. If the high pressure of the compressor is too high, the compressor will be damaged!
Important note: make sure to use the compressor oil in accordance with the original specification and proper amount! Do not mix different compressor oils!
Oxidation / acidification of compressor oil
During the use of air conditioning, a series of chemical changes will occur in the refrigerant, the water content will increase, and acid substances will be generated continuously. Compressor oil will react with oxygen, oxidize / acidify, turn black and increase viscosity. The accumulated oxides will become sludge, causing blockage and wear.
Acidified compressor oil will lead to seal rubber ring hardening, brittle crack, further corrosion of evaporator, condenser, blocking drying bottle and expansion valve, resulting in refrigerant leakage and a series of problems. At the same time, it also brings about the decrease of power and the increase of fuel consumption.
